The japanese photographer Chino Otsuka has created a set of double self-portraits called "Imagine finding me". In such type of pictures she appears twice, one at the time that the picture was taken and another (using digital tools) as she is now, several years after.
I have to admit that I am really impressed by the pictures. In a certain, way the 2D content of the image has been enhanced with a third dimension, the time.
